DONGJIN FIDES (aka Dong Jin Fides) is a container ship flying under the Korean flag that recently passed thru the Kanmon Strait. It was photographed from Moji, Kitakyushu with an Olympus e 520 camera equipped with 150mm Zuiko lens. The Kanmon Straits have around 600 ships travel thru daily. Dongjin ships are frequently seen passing thru.

The name they choose sounds more like rock bands than a ship's name, too. THERMOPYLAE is a vehicles carrier (RoRo ship) and was recently photographed passing thru the Kanmon Straits between Shimonoseki City and Kitakyushu City, Japan. Thermopylae is a large vessel, and while not as long as some others,  is quite tall. It dwarfed the buildings and other ships and boats it passed on the afternoon of April 2, 2022.
