Ships of Kanmon Strait

MOL Celebration is a large container ship in the Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd.(株式会社商船三井) fleet of vessels.   It was photographed by Ship Freakazoid on September 7, 2023 as it passed thru the Kanmon Straits between Moji and Shimonoseki on its journey from Tokyo, Japan to Busan, Korea. THERMOPYLAE is a vehicles carrier (RoRo ship) and was recently photographed passing thru the Kanmon Straits between Shimonoseki City and Kitakyushu City, Japan. Thermopylae is a large vessel, and while not as long as some others,  is quite tall. It dwarfed the buildings and other ships and boats it passed on the afternoon of April 2, 2022.
