MOL Celebration - 316 meters long 45 meters wide - Containter Ship

MOL Celebration is a large container ship in the Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd.(株式会社商船三井) fleet of vessels.   It was photographed by Ship Freakazoid on September 7, 2023 as it passed thru the Kanmon Straits between Moji and Shimonoseki on its journey from Tokyo, Japan to Busan, Korea.

This shot was taken from Karato Pier, near the Kaikyokan Aquarium in Shimonoseki, Japan.  MOL Celebration is heading thru the Kanmon Strait and then to Busan, Korea.  It is about 222 kilometers from Kitakyushu to Busan (formerly known as Pusan).

Another shot from Shimonoseki as MOL Celebration passes by the Karato Fish Market, palm trees, and pier, having just passed under the massive Kanmon Bridge.

せとぎり JS Setogiri DD-156 護衛艦    SETOGIRI is a Destroyer of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF).
